Vintage German Wilesco Olive Pitter/Slicer

Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. I believe this kitchen implement is a German made (by Wilesco) olive pitter and slicer. The frame and push down knob are made of a very light metal, perhaps molded aluminium. The spring, blade and spine are made of steel. The well where you would place the item to be pitted (stone removed from flesh of fruit) would suggest either olives or maybe cherries but in both cases the blade would not only remove the stone pit but would quarter th

VintageTorch-Glasses Made by Forda, Hong Kong 1950s

Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. 1950s torch-glasses made by Forda in Hong Kong. As the box they are in says "perfect for hobbyists, mechanics, draftsmen, do-it-yourselfers, etc." As well as having it's original box, it also comes with instructions. Neither the instructions nor the spiel on the box indicate that it uses batteries or what size batteries are required. I bought it for it's novelty value and I am selling as is. It didn't come with batteries, I haven't teste

The finial of the spoon with the 3 gold fleur de lis, the crown and horse holding a pennant flag indicates it is from Rouen in France. Note that the finial is sitting on a silver coffee bean which in turn is held by the loop of a silver branch. A very ornate collector's spoon.

Vintage Bread or Toast Serving Spring Loaded Forks

Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. Now these forks are unusual forerunners of the plastic gloves worn by food handlers, and especially in these days of Covid-19. Two of these forks would have been used by servants in Victorian English households as a means of serving bread or toast at the dining tables. Those 2 are silverplated and are spring loaded so that the piece of bread or toast stabbed by the fork tines can be lifted off a serving tray then pushed off the fork with
